Everyone has been asking for this. Cut and Paste. Seems simple really, everyone expected it to just be there and to WORK across applications etc. Well, weren’t we all surprised when it didn’t work like that!

Enter Ryan, iSpazio and the fabulous ‘Clippy’ – (we don’t mean that annoying animated paperclip office assistant ‘Clippy‘ from years gone by!). I thank you on behalf of all iPod users around the globe. Clippy works just like you would expect, select text, copy it, then paste it. Well, mostly like that. The actual ‘copy’ function and ‘paste’ function are on the ‘123′ button. So there is one extra step to cut and past – select text, tap ‘123′ button, select ‘copy’ button. And then go on your merry way and when you want to paste it (in any other application …..except for safari, so far) you simply select the ‘123′ button and then select ‘paste’ – la voila, cut and paste!

While still officially a beta product, Clippy is available in Cydia in the iSpazio repository which can be found here

So – the moment you have all been waiting for…the verdict…..pretty damn good! I think I would use this one quite a bit.
